'Elegant & Detached' is perhaps the most structured and rhythm-forward of all of Cartier's work as PINKCOURTESYPHONE. Because of this it might be one of my favorites. It also leans a little less into the noir moods of some of the other albums, making the atmosphere and surrounding melodies that much harder to place, which also pleases me.
